A ".pdf" or PostScript (".ps") file, properly color separated and with printers marks, is ideal. Unfortunately, the steps to make a correct PostScript file are still very complex in most software programs. There are large differences between program versions and vast differences between programs. For this reason, be sure to include a copy of your original file saved BEFORE you created the .ps file. Call for our current system status and software adaptability. Everything changes every day!
When sending "native" or non-PostScript files, please include copies of each image and all fonts you use. If images are compressed, please let us know. Some compressed images simply will not print and cause programs to "hang."
Remember to make copies of your fonts with your file and tell us the EXACT font names. Some of our programs and printers radically change the appearance of your type, so send your fonts to upload with your file. Be SURE to send a proof printout of your file so we can check our output for accuracy! when you submit them for production for comparison to our output. |
